Gauraksha refers to the protection and welfare of cows. It is rooted in cultural, religious, and ecological practices aimed at safeguarding cows and promoting their well-being.
Cows are revered in many traditions for their ecological, agricultural, and spiritual contributions. They provide milk, natural fertilizers, and biogas, making them vital for sustainable living.
Cow dung and urine are used in organic farming as natural fertilizers and pesticides, reducing dependency on chemical-based agriculture and improving soil health.
By protecting cows and promoting natural farming methods, farmers can save on chemical costs, improve soil fertility, and increase crop yields sustainably.
